Today is Galentines Day or as I am calling it GURLentine’s Day, and I just want to take a moment to celebrate the beautiful sisterhood that God has given us. Whether by blood, by bond, or by life’s divine connections, I am grateful for every GURL in my life who has loved, encouraged, and supported me through every season.
Sisterhood isn’t just about who’s there when it’s easy; it’s about who stays when life gets hard. It’s about the ones who:
Pray for you even when you don’t ask.
Remind you of your worth when you start to question it.
Hype you up like you’re Beyoncé before the big moment.
Tell you the truth—gently, but straight up.
Show up when it matters the most.
Proverbs 17:17 says, “A friend loves at all times, and a sister is born for adversity.” That means when life gets tough, your real ones are right there in the trenches with you, holding you up, wiping your tears, and reminding you who you are in Christ.
So today, I just want to say: THANK YOU.
Thank you to my LifeChangers and friends who have been like family.
Thank you to my daughter, sisters and cousins who remind me where I come from.
Thank you to my sorors and classmates who bring joy, support, and sisterhood into every space.
Thank you to my mentors and aunties who pour wisdom into me.
Thank you to my Mommy and mother figures who have prayed for me and paved the way.
GURL, THAT’S YOU! And I celebrate you today and always.
So if you’re reading this, send a text. Make a call. Tag a sis. Let her know she is loved and appreciated!
Drop a comment and tell me: What’s one thing you love about your GURL crew?
Thank you Dagne! So thankful for our sisterhood!!! May God continue to bless you in the space of teaching, uplifting and inspiring women.
Love you 🥰
